REV. CHRIS BLALOCK
Chris Blalock began serving as pastor of Pinecrest on 2/23/26. Chris is a native of Charleston, graduate of North Greenville University and Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary. He and his wife, Dorothy, have two children, Thomas and Hope.
Prior to coming to Pinecrest, Chris served as the Student Pastor of The Passage Church, Wendell, NC; Collegiate Ministries Director, FBC Charleston; Church planter for Uptown Church, Charleston; Missionary to France with the International Mission Board; and Connections Pastor in Rincon, Georgia. JOY BOLTON
MUSIC DIRECTOR /
MINISTRY ASSISTANT
Joy began serving as the volunteer Music Director of Pinecrest in March 2022. A graduate of Southern Baptist Theological Seminary in Church Music, Joy has served in churches in Louisiana, Pennsylvania, Maryland, and Kentucky. Joy is also active in the work of Woman’s Missionary Union (WMU) and served as the Kentucky WMU Executive Director from 1999-2018. She and her husband, Lee, retired to Charleston to be close to family and have been active members of Pinecrest for several years. Joy also began work as part-time ministry assistant in January 2023.

MARY JO STOCKTON
FINANCIAL SECRETARY
Mary Jo began serving as the Pinecrest Financial Secretary (Bookkeeper) in January 2023. Mary Jo graduated from Indiana Business College in 1991 with an Associates Degree in Accounting.  Her degree has served her well as she has worked as a Bookkeeper and Payroll Specialist for multiple companies over the years.
